This isn't a crazy idea, and I'm not the first one to feel this way and I'm pretty sure I'm not the last.  Take a look at the link below to see what's going on in Vermont.

PRESIDENT CLINTON WAS GOING TO BE IMPEACHED FOR LESS!!!!!!!

Here are some beautiful PATRIOTIC lyrics from a wonderful band called 'Bad Religion' (apologies to the band):

Atheist Peace:

Maybe it's to late
for intellectual debate
but a residue of confusion remains

Changing with the times
and developentally tortured minds
are the average citizen's sources of pain

"Tell me what we're fighting for"
I don't remember anymore
only temporary reprieve
and the world might cease
if we fail to tame the beast
from the faith that you release comes an atheist peace

political forces rent
bitter cold winds of discontent
and the modern age emerged triumphantly

but now it seems we've stalled
and it's time to de-evolve
and relive the dark chapters of history

"Tell me what we're fighting for"
No progress ever came from war
only a false sense of increase
And the world won't wait
for the TRUTH upon the plate
but we're ready now to feast
on an atheist peace

THE DUTY OF EVERY PATRIOTIC AMERICAN CITIZEN IS TO QUESTION HIS/HER GOVERNMENT!!!!!

Bush is a fucking moron. At least Clinton was in the oval office when he was getting a blow job. Can you blame the guy...lets see a 20 year old (approx...I don't remember her exact age)offers you a blow job..honetly do you blame him.

I think it is time for us to take a stand, and I couldn't agree with you more :)

Also, Bad Religion rules :)

The idea that the three branches of the US Government are "equal" is not expressed in the Constitution. They are supposed to be largely independent, so as to be able to constrain each other. The Constitution (a document now little-used, I fear) prescribes a republican (small r) form of government in which Congress would be the dominant branch, with functional initiative on the most important issues, including war and peace. The "theory of the unitary executive" espoused by Bush and company inflates Nixonian delinquency into a deliberate program of tyranny.

One big problem with presidential impeachment at the moment is that Bush is obviously not the brains of the operation. Working up through the Office of the Vice President is definitely the way to go. Let us all now praise the demise of Scooter Libby.

I definately am glad that 'Scooter' was found guilty, but I know, I KNOW the president is going to pardon him as soon as the short attention span of the American public forget all about him and focus their collective attention on something more important, like 'American Idol' (did you hear? the judges are going to let the contestants sing songs from 'edgier' bands like Evanescence OH MY GOD!!!).

You're right, of course, about king georgie the tyrant, not being the brains of this sinister plot, but it just goes to show you don't need a smart man to run the country when you have conglomerate corporations making the decisions for you (just what we're king georgie and cheney talking about with those ceo's of major energy production companies behind closed doors?)

Regardless, the elephant tramples the poor and especially the middle class, underfoot so that those born into wealth can consume more at the expense of our resources (natural and otherwise), our relations, and our honor. This is nothing new, nor a startling revelation. Unfortunately, the 'party of the people' are nothing but a bunch of toothless jackasses hee-hawing our concerns and demands and cowardly jumping out of the way of this behemoth glutton.

This post was NOT brought to you by 'your major credit card company' unlike the Republican National Convention back in 2004.

Liber Al vel Legis III:42

Success is thy proof: argue not; convert not; talk not overmuch! Them that seek to entrap thee, to overthrow thee, them attack without pity or quarter; & destroy them utterly. Swift as a trodden serpent turn and strike! Be thou yet deadlier than he! Drag down their souls to awful torment: laugh at their fear: spit upon them!
